Catalina Island

To celebrate Papa's Birthday a bit more, we took advantage of a birthday freebie and took the Catalina Express Ferry to Catalina Island.
If was a long fun filled day.
We woke up really early and missed all the normal L.A. traffic to Long Beach.
The Ferry is a really big boat, and was a lot of fun.
We sat outside on the bottom level. It was really windy, but a perfect time for cat naps.
After a nice breakfast
(where we met a few people who were also celebrating birthdays),

we rented a golf cart and drove it all around the little town of Avalon.
(That was the perfect place for another nap for us boys.)
There were some beautiful views.
We played on the beach,
and threw a lot of rocks in the water.
I did some modeling, hehe.
Ate some ice cream, chocolate if you can't tell.
It was a nice relaxing family day.
We stayed all day long, so when we got back on the boat it was just in time for sunset.
We found a nice seat outside on the top of the boat
(which surprisingly had less wind, but was a bit chilly).
We even saw dolphins on the way home.
What a great day.
Happy Birthday Papa, we sure love you!!
